Attitude in engineering |
|
from K. J. Sujan, CEO... |
Fruits and vegetables preservation assumes extreme importance, more so in India, the largest producer in the world with
the low of barely 10 percent of farm produce preserved, conserved and packaged for subsequent use.
MAZDA caters to this need with expertise and equipment

No two process plants are alike. No two packaging applications are the same.
When a project is envisioned, the following considerations present
themselves:
The starting product/s
The finished product/s
The by-product/s
The packaging style/s
The process plant capacity
The product mix
The location
The surmountable sensitivity factors
The factors that will remain as sensitivity factors,
viz. availability of raw materials, local government
policies, taxation laws, human resources, market
trends........
The process requirements such as water, environment, etc
Unless a process route is designed by experts taking all these considerations into account, it is virtually impossible to
arrive at a schedule of equipment required and hence the project outlay in terms of cost.
Spending time and a small part of the 'pre-operative costs' goes a long way in ensuring that project planning is on the right
track.
This is the reason why our PROJECT PLANNING DIVISION is the most sought after business cell within our group of companies.
And our PPD continues its association with a project till its successful conclusion. Some of our on-going projects...

At MAZDA we have the ability to understand your needs in entirety. There are no short-cuts to success. Plant size, orientation,
plans for expansions and diversifications, synergy, are only some of the issues to be addressed. The technical feasibility
and economic viability are necessarily influenced by factors which if ignored will result in less than perfect process plants.
Offering machinery - ours, or selected equipment from our collaborators, if not supported by our expertise, know-how,
technology, is not the same as taking a coordinated approach to setting up a process plant which necessarily must include
several of these invisible inputs. Our vast experience of over two decades has resulted in our package of services, including
the PDD, via our PROJECT PLANNING DIVISION.
THESE ARE EVENTUALLY CONTAINED IN A PLANT DESIGN DOSSIER (PDD) WHICH PROVIDES THE FINAL PLANS FOR SETTING UP A PLANT.
Preparation of BUSINESS PLANS in respect of projects is a consequential activity.
